Dr. Seokgyu Ko is a leading innovator in flexible and wearable sensor technology, with a research focus on advanced nanomaterials for electronic skin (e-skin) and human–machine interfaces. His most impactful work centers on developing highly sensitive, multifunctional sensors that mimic human tactile perception. Dr. Ko’s seminal 2020 paper on a capacitive pressure and strain sensor using a CaCu₃Ti₄O₁₂ hybrid sponge (225 citations) introduced a novel strategy to dramatically enhance sensitivity for wearable applications.
