Robert T. Kasumi is pioneering the future of robotics by challenging the very nature of how machines are built and sustained. His research focuses on two groundbreaking areas: **self-assembling robotic structures** and **robot metabolism**. Kasumi envisions a world where robots are no longer monolithic, closed systems, but instead can grow, heal, and adapt like living organisms.
