About
Robert Esnouf is a structural biologist whose work has advanced high-throughput protein crystallography and data management in structural proteomics. His research focuses on developing computational and experimental tools to streamline the determination of protein structures, particularly for biomedical targets. A key contribution is his role in a collaborative Structural Proteomics In Europe (SPINE) project targeting *Bacillus anthracis*, the causative agent of anthrax. This work, published in 2006 and cited 27 times, demonstrated the power of high-throughput (HTP) structure determination for biomedically relevant pathogens, integrating robotic crystallization and synchrotron data collection.
