About

Raheem Beyah is a leading voice in critical infrastructure security, with a research portfolio that bridges cyber-physical systems, mobile networks, and the Internet of Things. He is perhaps best known for pioneering security in domains historically overlooked by the field. His seminal work, "HoneyBot: A Honeypot for Robotic Systems" (2017, 39 citations), introduced the first dedicated deception technology for robotic systems, addressing a dangerous security gap in platforms—from surgical robots to autonomous vehicles—that were built for function, not defense. This contribution established a new subfield of cyber-physical deception.
