About
Pengji Duan’s research lies at the intersection of robotics, human-robot interaction, and educational technology, with a focus on designing systems that bridge physical and social distance. Duan is best known for pioneering work on telepresence teaching robots, as demonstrated in the highly cited 2018 study “Development of Telepresence Teaching Robots With Social Capabilities” (26 citations).
