Nathaniel L. Villanueva is a leading head and neck surgeon whose research has fundamentally advanced the surgical management of oropharyngeal cancer, particularly through the application of transoral robotic surgery (TORS). His major contributions center on creating a standardized, evidence-based framework for reconstruction following these minimally invasive procedures.
