About
Dr. Mengjia Lyu is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of robotics and chemical sensing, whose work has fundamentally advanced the concept of machine olfaction and gustation. Her primary research areas include biomimetic chemical sensing, soft robotics, and automated food quality assessment. Dr. Lyu’s most significant contribution is the development of chemical sensing systems integrated directly into robotic fingertips, enabling machines to “taste” and discriminate between complex food samples.
