Masahiko Yamamoto is a pioneering researcher in wireless energy transmission and bio-inspired robotics. His most influential work, "Laser Energy Transmission for a Wireless Energy Supply to Robots" (2005, 26 citations), co-authored with Nobuki Kawashima and colleagues, established a foundational approach for powering robots remotely using laser-based systems.
