Mark Hurtig’s research career has been defined by pioneering contributions to orthopaedic biomechanics, with a particular focus on joint mechanics, ligament function, and the progression of osteoarthritis. His work bridges engineering and veterinary medicine, using advanced robotic systems to simulate physiological joint loading in vitro.
