Kristi S. Anseth is a pioneering figure in biomaterials engineering and regenerative medicine, best known for her transformative work on photopolymerizable hydrogels and their applications in tissue engineering and drug delivery. Her research bridges synthetic chemistry and biology, enabling the design of dynamic, cell-responsive materials that mimic native extracellular environments.
