About

Joji Ishizaka is a leading figure in ocean color remote sensing, with a career dedicated to refining how we observe coastal and open-ocean waters from space. His research centers on atmospheric correction (AC) algorithms and the validation of satellite-derived water quality products, particularly for Japan’s coastal zones.
