About
Jinyu Liu is a rising researcher in astrodynamics and space sustainability, whose work addresses two of the most pressing challenges in modern spaceflight: mega-constellation maintenance and orbital debris removal. Liu’s most-cited paper, “Automatic orbital maneuver for mega-constellations maintenance with electrodynamic tethers” (2020, 33 citations), introduces a novel, propellant-free method for keeping large satellite clusters in their designated orbits, offering a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional chemical propulsion.
