About
Jinming Liu is a materials scientist and robotics engineer whose research bridges soft matter design and intelligent exoskeleton control. His most impactful work centers on developing ultra-stretchable, multi-purpose hydrogels with tunable mechanical properties. In his highly cited 2021 paper (100 citations), Liu introduced a solvent-induced dynamic micelle sea-island structure that yields hydrogels with low hysteresis, variable modulus, and shape memory—enabling applications in soft sensors and robotics.
