About

Hou Chen is a leading researcher in the development of advanced functional hydrogels and flexible electronic sensors, with a particular focus on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based materials and textile-integrated sensing systems. His most significant contribution is the creation of highly elastic, conductive, and sensitive PVA hydrogels through a novel synergistic combination of oxidization and salting out, eliminating the need for traditional freeze-thaw cycling.
