About

Hang Ao is a rising figure in nanomedicine, specializing in the design of enzyme-powered micro/nanomotors (MNMs) for targeted cancer therapy. Their work addresses a critical bottleneck in the field: the rapid deactivation of these tiny motors within the hostile tumor microenvironment. In their landmark 2025 study, "Anti-biopassivated Reticular Micromotors for Bladder Cancer Therapy," Ao pioneered a novel approach using hydrogen bond-rich metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to create anti-biopassivated, urease-powered motors.
