H. Cuevas is a leading figure in space situational awareness and time-domain astrophysics, with a career defined by building the observational infrastructure to monitor both human-made and natural transient phenomena. As a key architect of the Falcon Telescope Network (FTN), Cuevas established a pioneering global array of small-aperture optical telescopes, developed at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Center for Space Situational Awareness Research.
