About
Dr. Fu-Shan Jaw is a leading urologic oncologist whose research focuses on the intersection of immunology and prostate cancer (PCa) progression. His work has fundamentally advanced the understanding of how natural killer (NK) cells and the inflammatory milieu influence cancer outcomes. Dr. Jaw’s landmark study, which has garnered 14 citations, was the first to prospectively demonstrate that lower postoperative NK cell activity (NKA) is significantly associated with positive surgical margins after radical prostatectomy.
