Danfeng Pei is a rising leader in the field of soft materials and bioinspired electronics, whose research centers on liquid metals, MXene composites, and liquid crystal elastomers for next-generation wearable and robotic systems. Pei’s major contributions include pioneering reversible wet-adhesive and self-healing conductive elastomers using liquid metal, achieving 105 citations for a 2022 study that opened new pathways for stretchable conductors.
