Chuan Wei Zhang is pioneering the frontier of soft, sustainable materials, with a focus on tough hydrogels and liquid metal composites for next-generation soft electronics and robotics. His research masterfully integrates materials chemistry with bioinspired design, creating systems that are not only functional but also healable, recyclable, and biodegradable.
