Amit Ojha is an emerging research leader at the intersection of construction safety, robotics, and human-robot collaboration (HRC), with a rapidly growing body of work that has garnered nearly 240 citations since 2022. His research addresses some of the construction industry's most persistent challenges—workplace fatalities, musculoskeletal disorders, and labor inefficiencies—by integrating cutting-edge technologies including immersive virtual reality, wearable physiological sensing, and artificial intelligence. Ojha's most impactful contribution explores how immersive technologies and biosensing can transform safety training through human-robot teaming (88 citations), while complementary work leverages EEG-based systems to assess workers' trust in collaborative robots.
