Alessandro Buscicchio is a roboticist and aerospace engineer whose work bridges the gap between extreme terrestrial exploration and deep-space missions. His primary research areas include autonomous navigation in GPS-denied environments, origami-inspired robot design, and spaceflight hardware validation. Buscicchio made pivotal contributions as a core member of TEAM CoSTAR, which won the DARPA Subterranean Challenge.
