About
Aleksei Shcherbak is a pioneering roboticist at the forefront of multi-agent systems and autonomous drone swarms. His research centers on heterogeneous swarm robotics, morphogenetic leader drones, and the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into multi-robot coordination. Shcherbak’s major contributions include developing SwarmGear, a heterogeneous drone swarm system that uses virtual impedance links and a morphogenetic leader drone to enable continuous inspection of rough terrain—a critical advancement for infrastructure monitoring and search-and-rescue operations.
