About
Zhaobin Li is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of flexible bioelectronics, soft robotics, and intelligent human-machine interfaces. Their work centers on developing bioinspired nanocomposite materials and soft pneumatic actuators that bridge the gap between biological systems and engineered devices. Li’s most significant contribution is the creation of high-linearity, wide-sensing-range stretchable bioelectronics using MWCNTs/GR/Nd₂Fe₁₄B/PDMS nanocomposites, achieving 19 citations for its breakthrough in human-computer interaction and biomechanics detection. They further advanced the field with dual-functional capacitive sensors integrating bionic microstructures and magnetic nanocomposites for simultaneous pressure sensing and magnetic ternary encoding, enabling both contact and noncontact perception. In soft robotics, Li has designed elephant trunk-inspired pneumatic actuators and tri-directional soft actuators, expanding multi-scenario robotic applications. Their work also addresses Industry 4.0 challenges through scalable, energy-efficient task allocation algorithms. By combining materials science, biomimicry, and intelligent systems, Li’s research is shaping the next generation of wearable electronics, soft grippers, and smart manufacturing technologies.
