Dr. Waqar S. Qureshi is a leading researcher at the intersection of agricultural robotics, cyber-physical systems, and human-robot collaboration. His work is distinguished by a practical, vision-driven approach to automation, with major contributions in autonomous navigation for specialty crop harvesting. He is best known for developing the wolfberry picking robot, which uses visual cues and fuzzy control to autonomously navigate and harvest the delicate Goji berry—a task traditionally performed by hand.
