About
P. Thierry is a leading figure in optical time-domain astronomy, specializing in the design and deployment of robotic telescopes for rapid transient detection. His major contributions center on expanding observational capabilities in the Southern Hemisphere, notably through the Zadko Telescope—a 1-meter fast-slew facility installed in Western Australia in 2008.
