About

Kamol Chuengsatiansup is a pioneering roboticist whose work focuses on autonomous systems for search and rescue, human-robot interaction, and field robotics. His most influential contribution, the Plasma-RX project (2009, 8 citations), introduced a team of autonomous rescue robots designed for urban disaster environments. These robots featured differential drive tracks with front and rear flippers for traversing rubble, along with serial-link arms equipped with cameras.
