About

Dexing Qiu is a leading innovator in flexible and stretchable electronics, with a primary focus on developing advanced sensors and optoelectronic devices for wearable health monitoring and human-machine interfaces. His most impactful work includes the creation of an ultra-stretchable, highly sensitive capacitive strain sensor using an ionic nanocomposite, which has garnered 180 citations for its breakthrough in enabling comfortable, real-time physiological signal detection on the skin. Qiu further advanced the field by engineering a stretchable MoS₂ electromechanical sensor (46 citations), demonstrating unprecedented sensitivity and a large detection range for skin-on monitoring, a pioneering application of two-dimensional materials in strain sensing.
