About
Amin Hamed is a robotics and human-robot interaction researcher whose work centers on tactile sensing, force measurement, and intelligent robotic systems. He is best known for developing HexaTactile, a bio-inspired soft tactile sensor array featuring six barometer-based modules encased in silicone pyramid-shaped layers, capable of detecting subtle contact forces with high sensitivity.
