About

Adam Fiolka’s research is centered on advancing surgical robotics and human–machine interfaces to transform minimally invasive surgery (MIS). His major contributions include pioneering work on autonomous systems for the operating room, where his 2012 study (47 citations) identified critical needs and expectations for increased surgical autonomy.
