Abstract

Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are indeed responsible for a significant number of deaths globally, directly causing approximately 1.27 million deaths in 2019 and contributing to nearly 4.95 million deaths [1] [2]. As the death toll from COVID-19 stands at approximately 5.42 million [3], and some estimates suggest even higher figures, the importance of eliminating microbes rather than simply resisting them has become increasingly clear [4].This paper presents the development of a wireless Ultraviolet (UV) Robot Sterilizer, designed to address these threats. By utilizing UV-C light, known for its high effectiveness and antibacterial properties, the robot offers an effective solution. To ensure safety and ease of use, the chosen design features a wireless robot sterilizer that can be controlled remotely through mobile application, allowing full control without direct human contact. It is equipped with a camera for remote navigation and a PIR sensor that automatically stops the robot if a person enters the sterilization area, triggering a warning message to the user, thereby minimizing risks associated with UV exposure. This innovation represents a significant step towards improving disinfection methods in high-risk environments.
