Abstract
This paper describes a system for tracking dynamically moving objects using distance data received from a UWB(Ultra Wide Band) sensor. The UWB sensor system used in this paper is the Decawave DWM1000 IC using three UWB modules consisting of one tag and two anchors. The system is equipped with one tag for the tracking object and two anchors for the following system. Two anchors attached to the following system receive distance values between tags attached to the tracking object to determine the transition and rotation velocity. Using the determined velocity information, following systems such as mobile robots and carts can follow the tracking object.
