Modeling, simulation and validation of dc motor with spring load system

Abstract
Nowadays researchers and companies are facing strict time constraints in order to design and release new systems in the industry. Mechatronic systems are getting more popular with each passing day in many industries such as automotive, robotics and aerospace. In this study, in order to save time during the development of a mechatronic system, simulation and modeling studies are done. A DC motor based mechatronic system coupled with a spring based loading system is modeled and the simulation model is calibrated using a test setup. As a result of our studies, we observed that the experimental and simulated results matched.
