Abstract

Recently, with rising public security awareness, the demand for an efficient surveillance system has become highly significant. But several monitoring systems developed have certain drawbacks limiting their applications. The objective of this project is to deal with the security issues such as illegal smuggling, break in of terrorists, therefore reduces soldier's work. As most of the unlawful activities are done in night time, in order to deal with them, this paper introduces a system which consists of a thermal night vision IR camera (with wavelength= 750nm to 50 micro meters, megapixels= 2–5) which provides live video monitoring continuously all the day. As this system communicates through Wi-Fi, it doesn't have range limitation. Also, bomb diffusion is one of the dangerous tasks. To solve this problem, there is robotic arm which helps to diffuse a bomb from a safe distance. In addition to that, there is a metal detector to identify the explosives across the border.
