Abstract
We propose a heuristic method for selecting an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) that serves as a relay node that can maximize throughput in ad hoc network systems consisting of AMRs. The proposed method makes a simple pseudo-route for each relay AMR (R-AMR) and selects the optimal R-AMR based on the indicators calculated for that route. The evaluation results show that the proposed method improve the probability of selecting the optimal R-AMR (selection success probability) by 63.3 % compared to the simple method.
