Study on the Division Method of Pipeline Robot Module

Abstract
In this paper, module division was conducted for the pipeline robot system by way of combining axiomatic design method and IDEF functional modeling method, to solve the problem of single function and repeated structure design in the pipeline robot system. This method can extract the general module and customized module in the pipeline robot system via the function-structure mapping and the relation between products and activities. In this way, the compatibility and interchangeability between components can be realized, and resource sharing formed. Different functional modules can be assembled as customized modules according to different task requirements, to realize the multi-functionalization of the pipeline robot and meet market demands.
