Abstract
This paper proposes a method for human tracking to realize natural communication for partner robots. Evolutionary computation is used for human face detection and human tracking based on adaptive color matching. A temporary template pattern used for the adaptive color matching is updated according to the current image. Finally, we show experimental results of the human tracking to discuss the effectiveness of our proposed method.
