Abstract
This article analysis the two most popular vehicle to everything communication technologies (V2X), as well as providing a comparison between them, highlighting both the limitations and the current performances. Starting from a typical traffic congestion scenario it has been shown some similarities with the scale-free networks and took into consideration how the traffic delays can be decreased or even avoided using vehicular communication. With the technological advancement of an intelligent transportation system and the standardization and deployment of these communications, we are one step closer to fully autonomous vehicles. Furthermore, many of these communication advancements can be now used for autonomous mobile robots that operate within industrial factories and warehouses.
