Design of Strawberry Picking Hybrid Robot Based on Kinect Sensor

Abstract
A strawberry hybrid picking robot was developed, to solve the existing problem of the land utilization rate decreased by tracked vehicle used to walking mechanism on strawberry picking robot and series mechanism is lower repeatability and stability, which based on RGB visual recognition and Kinect sensor positioning technology and using Delta parallel mechanism as work platform, through the design of the mechanical structure of the hybrid picking robot and the hardware structure of the control system, and research on the picking process of strawberry hybrid picking robot and the method of obtaining space coordinate of strawberry, the designed strawberry hybrid picking robot not occupy the planting space of strawberry and improve the efficiency and accuracy of strawberry picking are demonstrated.
