Abstract

Friendly Human–Robot Interface In article number 2403447, Peng Xiao, Tao Chen, and co-workers propose a suspended sensing system enabled by the three-dimensional deformation and mechanical contact mechanism for efficient integration of sensitive touch and pain perception, which can be used as a soft skin for robots to endow them with human-like perceptual capacity and facilitate friendly human-robot interaction processes.
