Abstract
Agriculture is a vital industry that provides the necessary sustenance for human survival. In recent years, the field of agriculture has seen the emergence of robots, which are now playing a significant role in autonomous farming. This paper proposes the enhancement of an automatic fruit-harvesting robot through the integration of a spectrophotometer, manipulator, and line-following mechanism. The integration of these features enhances the robot's capability to harvest fruits effectively and efficiently. The use of robotic harvesting technology has become a practical and efficient solution for minimizing labor expenses, improving harvest coordination, facilitating selective harvesting, and enhancing operational performance. These advantages enable farmers to maximize their productivity and income. The suggested autonomous fruit-picking robot is constructed with versatile spatial manipulation capabilities, utilizing sustainable solar energy as its power source. Its flexibility and eco-friendliness make it an optimal solution for achieving efficient and sustainable farming practices. Furthermore, the addition of multiple degrees of freedom enhances the robot's functionality and efficiency, providing a superior option for fruit harvesting.
