Abstract
The application of emerging technologies and robotics incites the growth of productivity on repetitive and exhaustive tasks. An example of emerging technology is the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). It presents opportunities to contribute and carry out urban planning tasks in less time and risks. However, the field of UAS is still under development by the challenge of regulation and UAS capabilities. Therefore, a case study is presented to illustrate the process of UAS data collection to make better decisions in urban communities.
