Abstract
Overall considering the existing elderly-assistant and walking-assistant robot has some drawbacks, such as single function and unnatural human-computer interaction, imperfect safety, a new type elderly-assistant and walking-assistant robot is developed, which has reliable assistance, preventing fall, multifunctional and natural transformation between functions. Based on introducing the structure of the robot, finite element analysis of the robot structure based on SolidWorks/simulation is performed in this paper, so as to verify whether the structure meets requirements of strength and stiffness or not. Then, by SolidWorks/simulation, modal analysis of the robot is done, so that the inherent frequency and modal characteristics of the robot can be obtained, which has practical significance to avoid resonance in operating frequency range. These analysis based on SolidWorks/simulation are meaningful to judge whether safety, reliability and stability of the designed robot or not. It reduces the production cost, shorten the development cycle and improve the product quality.
