Abstract
Vision is one of the major component's of Automated Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Camera's or Sensors are the one's which provide vision to robots. Only with help of this, a robotic arm is able to sense its environment and act accordingly to the environment. The information on geometries from a vision device can be used to perform positioning or tracking tasks for the robotic arm. In this paper, we discuss about the method used in positioning and tracking tasks for the Robotic arm using the laser range method to find the distance from the camera to the target.
