摘要
This work presents an application of specialized software for topology optimization of a link from a 3D printed robot. It proposes an approach for designing 3D printed robot links. The type and nature of the distribution of forces that load the link of the robot are determined. An algorithm for topology optimization of the link is presented, which is an additional and innovative step in the development process. The internal stresses are determined and an optimum shape of the link is generated in accordance with the functional requirements and applied loads. The results are presented graphically. A 3D printed prototype of the link is created. The advantages and disadvantages of using optimization algorithms and software in combination with 3D printing technology and their application in the learning process are discussed.
