Automated Solar Panel Cleaning and Monitoring Robot

Solar PV is an emerging technology for the electricity energy and when it comes to environmental efficient energy generation. The natural sources like Sun has a huge potential radiation, solar energy is one of the most substantial and biggest sources of energy. In the modern world, solar energy is one of the most exciting, promising clean technologies because it emits no carbon. To harness the solar power generation it is essential to pay attention to its upkeep. Just like the solar panels are installed in open yards sand, dust particles and bird droppings accumulating on solar panel, it causes reduction in power output. Lifespan of solar panels are drastically reduced without proper cleaning due to aggregation of energy loss over time and occurrence of hot spots. To address this issue, automated solar panel cleaning and monitoring robots have emerged as a promising solution IoT technology. Hence it is required to design and develop a solar panel monitoring and cleaning system to gather and analyse solar energy data in order to forecast performance and ensure effective power production. By using this cleaning system process can be done timer based as well as cleaning process can be initiated by giving command through proposed application on just one click from anywhere at any time.
