摘要

Teaching Engineering, particularly fundamental courses and concepts, in higher education is always a challenge. Uninteresting lectures, static slides, abstract and mathematical concepts make engineering classes unattractive. This study presents a new active "hands-on lecture" lecturing approach to teaching robotics. The design-based research on the curriculum design has been conducted, and the active hands-on learning activities have been introduced. The development and class implementation of a real robot arm with course tailor-made tablet application is shown. The engagement of students in the learning process has been investigated.
