摘要
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are crucial in modern applications due to their high torque-to- weight ratio, efficiency, and precise speed control. They are widely used in robotics, electric vehicles, and renewable energy systems. In commercial settings where accuracy is important, closed-loop control systems are preferred over simpler voltage-to-frequency (V/f) open-loop controls. This work examines various control methods for PMSMs, focusing on the commonly used proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller and more advanced techniques like direct torque control (DTC), maximum torque per ampere (MTPA), and model predictive control (MPC). The PID controller remains popular in industrial environments due to its simplicity and effective error correction. However, advanced methods like model predictive control (MPC) provide better torque control and energy efficiency, especially in variable load conditions. This study compares the PID approach with the more advanced technique MPC model, highlighting their advantages in improving the performance of PMSMs for industrial and commercial use.
