Development and Application of Digital Twin for the Design Verification and Operation Management of Automated Material Handling Systems

With the introduction of Smart Manufacturing and the Industry 4.0 technologies in recent, many manufacturing companies are introducing automated facilities such as Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHSs) to increase operational efficiency and productivity, or to become unmanned factories. AMHSs enable automation of logistics within and between processes through intelligent material handling robots by replacing the existing workers
