About
Zhaopeng Cai is a leading figure in the advancement of robotic-assisted spinal surgery, with a primary focus on enhancing the precision and safety of lumbar fusion procedures. His most impactful contribution is the development and clinical validation of the "Orthbot" system, a novel surgical robot designed for the autonomous placement of Kirschner wires (K-wires) during spinal fusion.
