Zongze Li is a biomedical robotics researcher whose work spans two interconnected domains: surgical robotics for spinal procedures and miniaturized capsule robots for gastrointestinal diagnostics and therapy. His early and most influential contributions focus on advancing robotic-assisted spinal surgery, particularly pedicle screw fixation and lumbar fusion.
